Testing Times is looking for a technical quality coach to work with our clients and to help expand and grow our technical capabilities. The person we have in mind has impressive quality engineering skills and has worked using modern software engineering principles. Even better, you have proven experience in improving quality through some of your suggested initiatives.
You will have extensive test automation skills, not only building frameworks using a variety of frameworks and languages.
Quality for us is not only about test automation and a CI/CD infrastructure. We’re looking to expand into the SRE space, so someone who has knowledge of reliability engineering would be a plus. They will be self starters, able to work on their own initiative and have the ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies and approaches. We have a couple of mindset’s that we particularly feel are important. Firstly it’s someone who thrives in a continuous learning environment who takes ownership of their own learning. Secondly, we want that quality mindset. Someone who is always looking for ways to improve process, technologies and of course the product!
You must really enjoy working with people, especially in a coaching and mentoring context. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate how they influence and motivate a variety of stakeholders in their strategic direction. Prior consulting experience is advantageous but really, we’re looking more for someone willing to muck in and do what it takes to drive success in the technical arena. By being one of the first permanent employees in the technical arena, you will have the opportunity to have a real say in how we build our technology footprint. If you have ideas we want to hear them!
